When it was new, the Can-Am 250 was state of the art. The short stroke, rotary valve inducted, oil-injected two-stroke was produced by Rotax in Austria for Can-Am and cranked out a then astounding 35 horsepower at the rear wheel through its five-speed close-ratio tranny.
