MASSIMO TAMBURINI'S BIMOTA HB1

Massimo Tamburini is well known for designing the iconic and popular Ducati 916 in the early 1990's. But before the 916, while working at Bimota in the 70's he designed the HB1.

The HB1, although it wasn't his most beautiful design still has incredible significance. It was this design that created Bimota's reputation for taking a Japanese engine and bolting it to better frame and design than what the Japanese manufacturers of the day could make.

The result was a powerful motor with the style and attention to detail that only Mr. Tamburini could bring.

Here's a write up on Massimo from Benzina
