Vintage bikes targeted by thieves

Police are appealing to Counties Manukau motorbike fanatics to "band together" to help out a fellow enthusiast targeted by thieves.
A 77-year-old Hamilton bike addict is understandably distraught after the theft of his rare, antique motorcycles, Hamilton police constable Wayne Shanks says.
It's believed the thieves deliberately targeted the elderly gentleman, he says.
"The thieves have gone to some effort to gain entry to the man's garage and make off with the motorcycles," he says. Gone are a 1928 500cc BSA motorcycle, a 1951 500cc Norton and a 1926 350cc Harley Davidson that was being restored.
