THE SHED AT THE END OF THE LINE

There's a farm, it's at the end of the line, and we call it Machine. That's basically what this place is, it's the end of the line. It's about forged steel and formed aluminum. It's about speed, and creation. It's about two wheels. And it's fun.

Check out the mastery of steel and wheels from Matt Machine.

BRITISH CUSTOMS - THE DIRT BIKE

In 2006 Triumph introduced The Scrambler. It was the last Triumph styled by one of the most influential designers in British motorcycling - John Mockett. This modern classic has been a rider favorite ever since.

This 2012 Scrambler 900 was customized by British Customs, inspired by Steve McQueen and the 1963 film The Great Escape, they built this tough as nails looking, ready for anything bike aptly named "The Dirt Bike".

The BC guys took their bike out to the desert, and proved it worthy of it's name in this video "Desert to Mountains".

THE CR&S DUU / THE REFINED MONSTER

It's the clattering of steel, the minimal sounds of sockets turning hex bolts into freshly cnc'd billet aluminum. The noise dies to a low shifting of titanium plates interlinked with polished carbon covers onto a beast of a frame, begging to be let out of the cage. It screams with anticipation in an internal monologue of primed shift linkages and twitchy throttles. It's raceday...it's everyday...it's moments before that red light turns. See the technology at CR&S motorcycles.

THE CZECH CZ MX TEAM : A MID 70'S SNAPSHOT

The drive up to the track is slippery, the rains been falling for a three days prior to the start. The CZ team are the only ones smiling, they've just left a week and half worth of freezing downpour over their last training days afield. These dry, cloudy skies and damp grounds are a marked improvement. The sounds of gravel against hard soles, the overbearing scent of two stroke and heavy engine oil, grime underneath fingernails meets with the feeling of soil spread between hands; the stage is set.
